Cincinnati's Beautiful St. Peter in Chains

One may pass St. Peters and not realize it is a church, because of it intentional Greek revival structural design.  The corner stone for this building proclaims building started in 1841. The tall Corinthian columns bordering on three sides support the bell tower that rises 224 feet, which stood as the tallest building in Cincinnati for a number of years.  This gave the church a more governmental look, a more America look - which was a more approachable look that the Catholic Church needed at that time in history.

Baptistery.

Carriage for one of the priests.
