Intro into Part 2:
The blood seeped out from under his head, spreading like a thick red spider’s web on the cement…it was all my eyes focused on. He just laid there motionless. Was he dead? He looked dead. “Call 911! Call 911!” and girls screaming… sounded like background noises at a movie. Someone yanked my arm hard and pulled me off my knees. Next thing I knew we were running…we were running away as fast as we could, our hands clinching tightly together; too scared to let go.
