Where the Buffalo Rome... Near Home

Buffalo roam safe from harm at the Big Bone Lick Park in northern Kentucky.  They have a rich, brown color and rather short legs for the mass of their bodies.  Hunch backed, hairy and bearded with black, curved horns topping their heads, they have a compelling appearance!

Big Bone Lick Park is at 3380 Beaver Road, Union, KY 41091The park has many trails including the one that is approximately a half a mile long, making a nice circle from the parking lot, to the bison and back to the parking lot.  There are some nice viewing benches to sit and enjoy this great mammal.

This is just one of the many beautiful places Greater Cincinnati has to offer!

Please leave your comments and places you have been in the Tri-State.
